  31. The difference is, someone coming fresh out of school probubly isn't going to
  32. make a great deal of money anyhow.  There aren't paycuts happening in the
  33. animation or CGI production industry, not hardly.  But someone making upwards
  34. of $50-70K or more as a bank manager or stock analyst is not going to maintain
  35. that level of income jumping into CG for the first time.

  37. Job-experience != production experience

  39. I can't really say what the average or even acceptable starting salaries are
  40. these days.  Companies are so desperate for people that they're paying 
  41. extra-ordinary ammounts for warm bodies to fill seats.
